ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jenny combines over a decade of corporate training experience and an unquenchable passion for helping hurting women find healing, worth, and value in Jesus Christ. Her extensive background in adult-learning theory enables her to actively involve learners so that lasting behavioral change can be accomplished through her use of creative retention and engagement strategies.

Her passion is encouraging individuals to break free from that which hinders them through the Truths contained in Isaiah 61:1-7, and helping each person discover freedom in Christ. Jenny has experienced firsthand the devastation of domestic violence and generational divorce, she has witnessed the destructive effects of drugs and alcoholism upon family and friends, she has lived through and healed from an eating disorder, and is the child of a homosexual father. Her writing is a passionate reflection of her experiences and life-lessons and her hope is that what she has learned will provide freedom and comfort for others.

Jenny’s writing has been published in a variety of national magazines and she speaks regularly at women’s events. Her most recent appearance was at the 2005 AfterEve conference in McLean, VA (www.aftereve.org). Jenny has recently embarked on a new adventure and long-term dream of completing her Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.
